Did my first painting ever!!

So I was inspired to paint, don't know why! It's never been something I've been able to do, I can do makeup but that's about it.. So I guess it has a lot to do with the fact that my father in law and uncle in law are exposing their work at a festival and I've been around paintings more than usual. So yesterday I said "what the heck, whats the worse that can happen". I luckily have a husband that also paints, and I had a canvas, and all needed supplies/tools for the job in mind. Before I show you my masterpiece, I want to show you what I'm up against!! I hope they go easy on me, well so far hubby approves!!

This is my father in law's work, my personal favorite is the (black/white) bridge. It's a bridge in Boston, where my hubby proposed. If you want to see more of his work, here is the link. http://www.pedroarivero.com/

Next is some of Tio Vidal's paintings, he is also amazing!!

Last but not least, some of hubby's work. The first one is Tom (our cat)
he totally outdid himself with this one.

I feel as if I must warn you!!!!!!

My son loved it, and said it was terrific, therefore it's in his room. I don't know where it would fit in my home with such amazing paintings..

Nonetheless, I'm very proud of myself. It was very hard, but I enjoyed every minute. This is something that I never thought I could do and I think it's pretty good!!

Finally, my masterpiece =)

I was talking to a Photographer I met via MM and he said "oh you're the girl with the funky nails" LOL so that made my day, hahahaha.. I love doing silly things to my nails and love the fact that people remember and like it..
So.... On that note, this is what I did today =)

Arghhh, My little PIRATE!

This is my little boy Lucas, he has been driving me bananas for a few months now to paint his face. I don't have any clown makeup (which i'll be buying soon) so I've been putting it off. Finally yesterday he said " Mommy you put makeup on everybody, but what about your son"?

Needless to say, here is my little pirate.
I did everything with my makeup, sooo this will be fun to remove!
